一种适用于高阶QAM信号的双模式多模盲均衡算法

为了克服常数模算法(CMA)收敛速度慢、稳态误差大的缺点,利用QAM信号信道利用率高及高阶QAM信号模值不为常数的特点,提出了一种适用于高阶QAM信号的双模式多模盲均衡算法(DMMA).该算法以常规的CMA为基础模式,以多模算法(MMA)为第二模式,用该模式对于处在不同模值上的信号,以相对应的模值为参数分别进行均衡.另外,两种模式是同时对信号进行均衡的,并且在第二模式中,利用判决条件对均衡器的输出信号进行判决,使得模值能自动进行切换.利用水声信道对DMMA和CMA进行仿真实验,结果表明,与CMA相比,DMMA能针对性地对位于不同模值上的信号分别进行均衡,且收敛速度快、稳态误差小.     

The regulation of ion channels and transporters by glycolytically derived ATP

Glycolysis is an evolutionary conserved metabolic pathway that provides small amounts of energy in the form of ATP when compared to other pathways such as oxidative phosphorylation or fatty acid oxidation. The ATP levels inside metabolically active cells are not constant and the local ATP level will depend on the site of production as well as the respective rates of ATP production, diffusion and consumption. Membrane ion transporters (pumps, exchangers and channels) are located at sites distal to the major sources of ATP formation (the mitochondria). We review evidence that the glycolytic complex is associated with membranes; both at the plasmalemma and with membranes of the endo/sarcoplasmic reticular network. We examine the evidence for the concept that many of the ion transporters are regulated preferentially by the glycolytic process. These include the Na⁺/K⁺-ATPase, the H⁺-ATPase, various types of Ca²⁺-ATPases, the Na⁺/H⁺ exchanger, the ATP-sensitive K⁺ channel, cation channels, Na⁺ channels, Ca²⁺ channels and other channels involved in intracellular Ca²⁺ homeostasis. Regulation of these pumps, exchangers and ion channels by the glycolytic process has important consequences in a variety of physiological and pathophysiological processes, and a better understanding of this mode of regulation may have important consequences for developing future strategies in combating disease and developing novel therapeutic approaches. Conotoxins of the O-superfamily affecting voltage-gated sodium channels

The venoms of predatory cone snails harbor a rich repertoire of peptide toxins that are valuable research tools, but recently have also proven to be useful drugs. Among the conotoxins with several disulfide bridges, the O-superfamily toxins are characterized by a conserved cysteine knot pattern: C-C-CC-C-C. While ω-conotoxins and κ-conotoxins block Ca²⁺ and K⁺ channels, respectively, the closely related δ- and μO-conotoxins affect voltage-gated Na⁺ channels (Na_v channels). δ-conotoxins mainly remove the fast inactivation of Na_v channels and, thus, functionally resemble long-chain scorpion α-toxins. μO-conotoxins are functionally similar to μ-conotoxins, since they inhibit the ion flow through Na_v channels. Recent results from functional and structural assays have gained insight into the underlying molecular mechanisms. Both types of toxins are voltage-sensor toxins interfering with the voltage-sensor elements of Na_v channels. Game Theory Study on Distributors＇ Alliance to Gain Competitive Advantage in Marketing Channel

Using the Cournot Game Model, this paper has analyzed the motivation of the distributors＇ alliance to gain competitive advantage in marketing channel. At first, this paper separately analyzed the advantage of alliance in the situation of one- short game and infinitely repeated game, then, based on the analysis of distributors＇ betrayal of the alliance under infinitely repeated game, the conditions to maintain the distributors alliance are put forward and discussed.     

Bicuculline and picrotoxin block γ-aminobutryic acid-gated Cl− conductance by different mechanisms

Summary Using isolated, internally perfused bullfrog dorsal root ganglion cells we have studied the dose-response curves for -aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the presence of internally or externally applied GABA antagonists. With external application of antagonists the inhibition of the GABA current by bicuculline was competitive and that by picrotoxin was noncompetitive.
